My retrospective hypercriticisms of Sonic boom condensed

This is purely for the show, not for the video games. It's also my understanding that Sonic boom rise of lyric listen Superior game but hardly anybody talked about it because sonic boom for the Wii was so bad it became a meme.

I tried to fuck with Sonic boom. I watch season 1, I think season 2, and I read the first issue of the comic.

I don't have as much access to comics, so I left it at that, but when I realized the show was all going to be fourth wall breaking self-deprecating humor, and it was us older fans that were the butt of the jokes, I dropped out.

It was a sitcom/ actcom geared towards people 8 to 15, but the fourth wall breaking humor that they leaned on for the show was geared towards older fans. People who were there for Sonic 06, people who were there when Sonic sat am and Sonic underground ended on cliffhangers. People who were there when Archie got discontinued and Fleetway got canceled. We were getting trolled in a show not even geared towards us.

Sonic boom with a slap in the face to a fandom that has already endured a lot of hardship. The humor was aimed at us in a very deprecating tone. "Those weird pictures of me on the internet", "if I had a comic, I would never let it end on a cliffhanger", etc. Dawg, all of that was so uncalled for and completely disrespectful. "We're just going to make fun of you right to your face to your kids." I will say, the show geared towards children with references to an older fan base very much lacks an identity. Either make a kids show or make an adults show.

Shadow got treated like shit. Just showing up to be an edgelord and kick Sonic in the face was not a good character model. Why was metal Sonic in the Wii game, but not in the show?

The whole will they won't they between Amy and Sonic when we know they won't. They could have easily given Amy and or Sonic a partner. Since Sonic has had partners in the past, Amy boom definitely should have had a partner. What really grinded my gears was when they had an episode about Tails having a crush on someone but it ended up being mostly focused on Sonic and Amy's will they won't they. That was actually very gross!

This is as condensed as I can make it. I don't care about the other stuff. I've already gone into detail about how I have huge issues with Sonic's portrayal. Also, the Sonic Boom section of the franchise had no music. That's the first time that's ever happened.

Sonic Boom was definitely the "hey sega, that you should make a new IP, instead of constantly fucking up Sonic." And they don't even have to make a new ip. Rayman. Night's in the dreams. The Little fucking sun guy with the arms! Why the fuck did they give Bayonetta to Nintendo? Astral chain! I will take Astral Chain 2 at this point! What was the new IP that Sonic 06 turned into? Do that!

Even with Sonic frontiers and Sonic prime doing well, we still need a different #Sega game. Let's leave Sonic alone for a little bit.

healthy choice Cafe steamers grilled chicken marinara with parmesan

I'll skip the packaging review, because you already know that part from the two previous blog post. My opinion about that hasn't changed. This is also another regular purchase for me. the overall packaging of the meal is great quality, but the parmesan amount can vary. Be aware that they skimp on the parmesan. The chicken is tender, and the noodles and broccoli have a slight firmness. It's all Greek to Me. The sauce in this one is on the weak side, in my opinion but still flavorful. something I'm noticing so far with a lot of these microwave dinners is that they're not full dinners because they focus on quality over quantity, but the quantity is was lacking. It's also the same price as the others: $2.99, on sale. Normally, $3.99 or $4.99. it won't get you full, but it can hold you over for an hour or two. I would say it's worth two or three, but not four.

Was "Miraculous: the tales of ladybug and chat noir" trying to be the next Steven universe?

I came up with this question when I started doing criticisms of particular characters and noticed some parallels. To start off with the most obvious, the dead mother being the driving force to the main characters. Even though not everyone is aware of Emilie, she is the driving force to everything going on in the story. They're trying to stop the main antagonist from destroying the universe, as they know it to bring her back to life. What Emily doesn't have going for her is all of the characters being aware of her. Everyone is aware of rose quartz and then later aware of pink diamond which adds so much more to the story! Most of the events happened because of her, but not all of them. Sometimes life happens, and that's great, too! Steven Universe has a better take on "alternative" family setups. Not to say miraculous didn't try. A lot of single parents in that show, but no one in a polyamorous family. Speaking of polyamory, Steven Universe invited polyamory clo...

Sonic the hedgehog hot take Sonic Boom

I don't know how or why, but they made #SonicBoom a situational comedy aimed at children. Children don't really go through situations that make their lives entertaining, so they really sat back and relied on Fourth Wall breaking to be relatable. Played really hard into the will they won't they between Sonic and Amy when we already know they won't. Hardly, had Shadow in there, but he shouldn't have been there, at all. It would have been best to leave Shadow out of it. With that, Sonic Boom broke all the rules that had been established throughout various parts of the Sonic Universe and up until then remained consistent.  If you're asking what could possibly can be consistent throughout the Sonic Multiverse, I have very simple answers to that question. Sonic is blue. Sonic goes fast. Sonic is always ready for action! Sonic Boom Sonic was pretty lazy, didn't even seem to like being a hero most of the time. The blue was questionable, and rarely did he go fast. He...
