Review: BAUHN foldable Bluetooth keyboard pink/silver

A quick review of another attack item from Aldi  What's really cool about these foldable keyboards is that they have four color options!  It magnet shuts close but it doesn't have magnets on the other side to make it stay open so you have to use it on a flat surface.  It has a hard time connecting/staying connected with cell phones, but it works fine with my Linux mint laptop. I initially bought it to see if it would connect with my KiaOS flip phone and unfortunately it didn't, but I'm going to keep it because it connects to my laptop. For it to connect to my Samsung Android, I have to unpair it and repair it and do the connection settings every time. I can't suggest buying this, But if you want something cheap for your laptop that comes in different colors, go for it.

red's organic bean rice and cheddar burrito review

Another fancy high-end burrito that was on sale. It's about quality not quantity, but I can't suggest this one. It doesn't have any kind of juiciness to it. I cooked it as the directions said, and it's definitely a quality taste, but there's no draw to it like no seasoning or anything. It lacks flavor. And for the original price, it's a waste of money. if you're going to the co-op for something beans and rice related, get beans and rice, and buy a little bit of cheese from the cheese department, and you'd do better than this. that way, it would be easier to add your desired seasonings, and you wouldn't have the tortilla on the way. Unless you wanted to buy a pack of tortillas to. this is definitely one where it's worth the cheaper price of buying your own and getting more, than it is buying it as it is.

Mastodon (and Gab) is for the miserable

something I have observed is that people aren't very celebratory about anything on Mastodon. And when people are celebratory, there are always people trying to shoot people down. Twitter is for people who want to watch the world burn, but Mastodon is for those who want to remain in misery. And those are two different things. The reality of this hit me on Valentine's day, when people were talking over the legacy of st. Valentine who is basically one of the first recorded marriage equality activists in history. a lot of what I saw was people trying to shut down Valentine's day for present-day political issues. Shouldn't those things be important all the time and not just when you're shouting down the historical figure? Another piece of evidence is when someone posted about how they lost two followers when they posted that their partner had accepted their marriage proposal. Mastodon (and Gab) is for people who want to rant about politics or were redeem soc...

Scott & Jon's garlic butter shrimp Rice bowl review

The portion size was to be expected, although I was happy with it for the $3.99 price tag. It was a little bit more garlic than butter tasting, and salt was a very prominent flavor, but those are all fine with me. the butter was to add to the smoothness of the food texture, not the flavor. the quality of the shrimp is on par with the previous bowls, being excellent quality. It was a very satisfying bowl.  I highly suggest it! Video review here: https://youtu.be/kzCV9bUL-hk

ocean's Halo miso ramen bowl

This is really showing off some aesthetically desirable and environmentally friendly packaging. The food was gross, and it didn't have kelp in it.

osomatsu-san: the end of season 1 versus the end of season 2

A recount of the events of the end of season 1: Choromatsu gets a job and is the first to move out. Everyone else is happy except Osomatsu, and it results in a family falling out where everyone leaves except Osomatsu. A letter arrives inviting them to a tournament. Chaos, calamity, and comedy ensue and everyone is brought back to square one. A recount of the events of the end of season 2:  Matsuzou suddenly falls ill, and must stay in the hospital for days, upon weeks. well the main breadwinner is in the hospital, the adult children get jobs and do chores around the house. Just when it seems like they've all gotten their lives together, a sudden plane crash not only destroys half of the house, but also kills all six of the offspring. as far as I can remember, this happens while Matsuzou is still in the hospital. They go into the Afterlife, and fight for a little bit, see all of the other characters throughout the series, and escaped back into the living world, back into their bodie...

Scott and Jon's cilantro lime shrimp Rice bowl review

my only dispute with the packaging on this one as they aren't clear if the peppers are spicy or not. It would be a good idea for them to make their packaging easier to open. like I said that perforated tab on it somewhere, or take off the edges so someone could easily pull it open. this is when you're supposed to start cooking, mixed up and then resume cooking. I didn't do that so I could take a picture of it as it was before I ate it. and I've yet to suffer any major consequences from not following the mixing instructions. But I will admit back and make the food turn out better. But this didn't turn out bad. The food itself has a little bit of a kick to it, but it's not anything traumatic. the seasoning is very flavorful, and I would say on point for this Rice bowl. They weren't stingy with the seasoning! Nicely sized juicy shrimp.  Another quality product by Scott and Jon's! This are normally $3.99, but I...

Tik-Tok is a toxic platform

How Tik-Tok falls in the chaotic evil and lawful evil categories: Tik Tok isn't like any other platform, where you choose what content you're going to see before you start browsing. It basically browses for you and you curate your feed to what you want to see, but in the meantime you might get a whole lot of upsetting content. And I'm not saying that just to mean stuff that you don't want to see. I am saying stuff that is legitimately emotionally and mentally triggering. but that's the draw to the app. Being able to see random content, rather than the draw to other platforms being searching content, like YouTube. Most of the creators on the app are teenagers and young adults, most of what I seen with white male privilege. you have to dig to find content that isn't made by skinny white cisgender heterosexual able-bodied people, in general. it's not a free and open platform that were used to like YouTube and Instagram, because those are American run companies....

healthy choice Cafe steamers grilled chicken marinara with parmesan

I'll skip the packaging review, because you already know that part from the two previous blog post. My opinion about that hasn't changed. This is also another regular purchase for me. the overall packaging of the meal is great quality, but the parmesan amount can vary. Be aware that they skimp on the parmesan. The chicken is tender, and the noodles and broccoli have a slight firmness. It's all Greek to Me. The sauce in this one is on the weak side, in my opinion but still flavorful. something I'm noticing so far with a lot of these microwave dinners is that they're not full dinners because they focus on quality over quantity, but the quantity is was lacking. It's also the same price as the others: $2.99, on sale. Normally, $3.99 or $4.99. it won't get you full, but it can hold you over for an hour or two. I would say it's worth two or three, but not four.

healthy choice Cafe steamers chicken Margherita with balsamic vinaigrette sauce

Grilled chicken breast with angel hair pasta, roasted garlic, and tomatoes and balsamic vinaigrette sauce. all of the healthy choice Cafe steamers packaging is the same. Very aesthetically pleasing packaging with print that is considerably too small was anyone for visual impairments. I would say everything about this is the perfect texture. The chicken is juicy and tender. The angel hair noodles have a slight firmness, which I enjoy. The tomatoes are sweet, in the balsamic vinaigrette sauce only adds everything positively. This is one of my favorites, so I might be coming over the bias! you might find these for $3.99 or $4.99, but depending on where you are there often on sale for $2.99. $4.99 is a stretch, but $2.99 or $3.99 are worth it! One might hold you over for a while, but you won't get full. It's good for breakfast or lunch, if lunch and dinner are coming up soon. I hope this review is helpful, and thanks for stopping by a...

Squat the Planet has serious issues!

Here's the video: https://youtu.be/ORTD_Bz-DVs Or you can read this post! Squat the planet is and online alternative traveling community that set up for white men by white men. they talked about acab, anti-fascist, and anarchy all day, but if you bring up white male privilege prepare to be the villain. Then you're racist, sexist, and making blanket statements. but you're not bad for making blanket statements against police officers because "there are some good cops." But if you say there are no good cops because they all enforce systemic oppression and confirm to an institution, and you should be able to say that about white male privilege to. But you can't, because the white males running and fueling the website don't want to acknowledge that they have privilege and we'll get mad at you. And they can't take any kind of criticism. If the main administrator had to save face to save life, there would be no face and all death. Which leads me to what h...

Scott and Jon's shrimp ramen noodle bowl

https://youtu.be/SNe1NFhdqDY $3.99 +tax Another item of small portion but large quality. As you can see, it's smaller than the previous meal, but has a lot more components to it. It feels more like eating a meal, itself. Not to say that you won't still be hungry, if you don't have other things to go with it.

Scott and Jon's shrimp scampi pasta bowl!

I got the idea to do a blog post after I ate it, so I must apologize that there won't be a picture of the unboxed food. But there is a video review, if you want to see the food outside of the box and cooked! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyLf1pVOc54 This is my first time doing this, and I have a lot to learn! I decided to do microwave dinner reviews, because the quality of microwave dinners has highly increased, and it deserves recognition. Microwave dinners are way more accessible, and healthier then they were before, and the quality has gone up extremely within the past five years. with microwave dinners becoming more accessible and healthier, they're also in better packaging. a lot of the packaging is recyclable, and some of them are even compostable! And as you can tell by the packaging, they are considering people counting calories, how much protein people are taking in, and other things, depending on what they're trying to se...

Knights of Sidonia - quick look!

Knights of Sidonia by Tsutomu Nihei The library only has a few volumes with nine being the earliest. Just a quick look, more reading a book by it's cover maybe, but I don't think it's that complicated. It's a very in-depth storyline with a decent amount of female characters, and everyone seems like they're in a very respectable role. with the body horror mutilation that's going on I can say it's anti-fan service so far. My comparison at-a-glance is picking up neon Genesis Evangelion, attack on Titan, and Gundams, in space. the back of the book says that someone else is also described it as attack on Titans in space, but I like to offer more diversity. And, to me, it screams way more the original neon Genesis Evangelion in space. I think it has some romantic undertones, but it's not as heterosexual as it seems. At least, I think it's not. That has something to do with the body horror thing.  Just at a glance, hopping in on volume nine, I suggest it. I...

SOONER OR LATER comic versus the fanfiction REVIEW

Sooner or later is an undertale fanfiction, based on the underfell AU, based on the mafia fell AU that started as a fanfiction that got adapted into a comic. This contains spoilers and details about what happens in the story, so if you want to read the fanfiction or the comic don't read this. it is subjectively the more problematic side of the fanfiction heterosexual cisgenderism rearing its ugly head making frisk a heterosexual cisgender assumably white passing woman. not that I have anything against heterosexual cisgender people, I just wish they would stop rubbing their agenda in my face. Even worse, she turns out to be a damsel in distress later on story - but let me not get ahead of myself about this hetero patriarchy shitshow! In the beginning Frisk   is a talented singer in a mafia gang crime-riddled City. at this point in her life, she's lost a lot of friends and family, was in abusive relationship, had a miscarriage because of it, and abuse and death h...
