red's organic bean rice and cheddar burrito review

Another fancy high-end burrito that was on sale. It's about quality not quantity, but I can't suggest this one. It doesn't have any kind of juiciness to it. I cooked it as the directions said, and it's definitely a quality taste, but there's no draw to it like no seasoning or anything. It lacks flavor. And for the original price, it's a waste of money. if you're going to the co-op for something beans and rice related, get beans and rice, and buy a little bit of cheese from the cheese department, and you'd do better than this. that way, it would be easier to add your desired seasonings, and you wouldn't have the tortilla on the way. Unless you wanted to buy a pack of tortillas to. this is definitely one where it's worth the cheaper price of buying your own and getting more, than it is buying it as it is.

RED'S steak and cheddar burrito review

I was too hungry to make a video! One of those three or four dollar high-end burritos, but I got it on sale. And I would say it's worth the price in quality, but not in quantity. For as much as it is at regular price, it wasn't filling. But it was healthy. It's a burrito that you can only get at a co-op or a high-end grocery store. Not regular grocery store, nor gas station. If you have the money, buy it. If you don't have the money, get taco from your local Mexican food truck.

Scott & Jon's garlic butter shrimp Rice bowl review

The portion size was to be expected, although I was happy with it for the $3.99 price tag. It was a little bit more garlic than butter tasting, and salt was a very prominent flavor, but those are all fine with me. the butter was to add to the smoothness of the food texture, not the flavor. the quality of the shrimp is on par with the previous bowls, being excellent quality. It was a very satisfying bowl.  I highly suggest it! Video review here: https://youtu.be/kzCV9bUL-hk

Scott and Jon's cilantro lime shrimp Rice bowl review

my only dispute with the packaging on this one as they aren't clear if the peppers are spicy or not. It would be a good idea for them to make their packaging easier to open. like I said that perforated tab on it somewhere, or take off the edges so someone could easily pull it open. this is when you're supposed to start cooking, mixed up and then resume cooking. I didn't do that so I could take a picture of it as it was before I ate it. and I've yet to suffer any major consequences from not following the mixing instructions. But I will admit back and make the food turn out better. But this didn't turn out bad. The food itself has a little bit of a kick to it, but it's not anything traumatic. the seasoning is very flavorful, and I would say on point for this Rice bowl. They weren't stingy with the seasoning! Nicely sized juicy shrimp.  Another quality product by Scott and Jon's! This are normally $3.99, but I...

healthy choice Cafe steamers grilled chicken marinara with parmesan

I'll skip the packaging review, because you already know that part from the two previous blog post. My opinion about that hasn't changed. This is also another regular purchase for me. the overall packaging of the meal is great quality, but the parmesan amount can vary. Be aware that they skimp on the parmesan. The chicken is tender, and the noodles and broccoli have a slight firmness. It's all Greek to Me. The sauce in this one is on the weak side, in my opinion but still flavorful. something I'm noticing so far with a lot of these microwave dinners is that they're not full dinners because they focus on quality over quantity, but the quantity is was lacking. It's also the same price as the others: $2.99, on sale. Normally, $3.99 or $4.99. it won't get you full, but it can hold you over for an hour or two. I would say it's worth two or three, but not four.

healthy choice Cafe steamers chicken Margherita with balsamic vinaigrette sauce

Grilled chicken breast with angel hair pasta, roasted garlic, and tomatoes and balsamic vinaigrette sauce. all of the healthy choice Cafe steamers packaging is the same. Very aesthetically pleasing packaging with print that is considerably too small was anyone for visual impairments. I would say everything about this is the perfect texture. The chicken is juicy and tender. The angel hair noodles have a slight firmness, which I enjoy. The tomatoes are sweet, in the balsamic vinaigrette sauce only adds everything positively. This is one of my favorites, so I might be coming over the bias! you might find these for $3.99 or $4.99, but depending on where you are there often on sale for $2.99. $4.99 is a stretch, but $2.99 or $3.99 are worth it! One might hold you over for a while, but you won't get full. It's good for breakfast or lunch, if lunch and dinner are coming up soon. I hope this review is helpful, and thanks for stopping by a...

Healthy Choices Cafe Steamers Beef Merlot

I'm not doing a video with this one because this is one of my regulars. I would rather record myself experiencing something new with the audience.  Even though this packaging is aesthetically pleasing in a calming way, I don't have much appreciation for the small text. The instructions are also very small on the box. But I will say that it's easier to open than the traditional box. So you have an easy to open box with tiny print! But the instructions on this meal, like most of the cafe steamers series is for it to be simple. You don't need to cut a hole in anything remove the film, just throw it in the microwave for the appropriate amount of time. For the sake of value, you can find these costing $2.99, $3.99, or $4.99 depending on where you are and where you bought it from. $4.99 and $3.99 it's worth it. $4.99 is pushing it. You likely won't get full, but you might get near there depending on your own body. some p...

Scott and Jon's shrimp ramen noodle bowl

https://youtu.be/SNe1NFhdqDY $3.99 +tax Another item of small portion but large quality. As you can see, it's smaller than the previous meal, but has a lot more components to it. It feels more like eating a meal, itself. Not to say that you won't still be hungry, if you don't have other things to go with it.

Scott and Jon's shrimp scampi pasta bowl!

I got the idea to do a blog post after I ate it, so I must apologize that there won't be a picture of the unboxed food. But there is a video review, if you want to see the food outside of the box and cooked! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyLf1pVOc54 This is my first time doing this, and I have a lot to learn! I decided to do microwave dinner reviews, because the quality of microwave dinners has highly increased, and it deserves recognition. Microwave dinners are way more accessible, and healthier then they were before, and the quality has gone up extremely within the past five years. with microwave dinners becoming more accessible and healthier, they're also in better packaging. a lot of the packaging is recyclable, and some of them are even compostable! And as you can tell by the packaging, they are considering people counting calories, how much protein people are taking in, and other things, depending on what they're trying to se...
